Based on the analysis of the results of the implementation of information technologies in the customs control processes, the article reveals certain aspects of the further development of this process. The analysis of the development strategy of the Federal Customs Service of the Russian Federation in this direction is carried out, certain problematic issues and options for their resolution are noted.
