Theoretical and practical aspects of national economic security monitoring were considered in the article. Approaches to the definition of “economic security” were briefly analyzed. The author, touching upon the issue of the ensuring economic security mechanism, identified the legal basis of national economic security as its element. It was concluded that legal basis needed to be monitored and evaluated, and a review of the possibility of using existing monitoring technologies in this area was conducted.
