Based on the analysis of the regulatory framework, as well as law enforcement practice, the article models a typical scheme of evasion by unscrupulous participants of foreign economic activity from administrative responsibility for violation of currency legislation when withdrawing currency values outside the Russian Federation. It offers a number of recommendations to regulatory authorities, as well as proposals for changes to the current legislation on currency regulation.
