The article shows the general understanding of technologies and technologization in scientific activity, shows the place and target settings of technologies in the methodology of scientific research. The author analyzes the main characteristics and structural elements of technologies as a methodological toolkit for cognition of state and legal phenomena and institutions. Particular attention is paid to the role of the scientist in the development, study and use of technologies in research activities.
