The article presents an analysis of the current and projected legislation on control and Supervisory activities in the field of road safety. The proposal on the need to include in the tasks of control and supervision activities implemented by the traffic police departments of the Ministry of internal Affairs of Russia supervision of the design of roads and road infrastructure is reasoned.
