Today, the agenda includes the transformation of civil society in the era of the information revolution, the impact of information technologies on the development of civil society and ensuring constitutional human rights and freedoms. The spread of the Internet, access to information on a global scale, and the simplification of communications create conditions for the strengthening of human social activity in civil society, but do not ensure its inevitability. Information technology is just a tool that can be used for various purposes. In the article, the authors raise the question of whether the development of information technologies and the spread of the Internet contributes to the strengthening of social trust and ensuring the constitutional rights and freedoms of every person.
