In recent years, the number of cases of recourse to the phenomenon of legal compromise has increased in legal practice. Its use has raised a large number of new theoretical questions for scientists. According to the author, the most significant among them is the problem of determining the conditions of legal compromise. The article attempts to study their legal nature and role in strengthening the stability of the social system. The author’s efforts are aimed at identifying and analyzing the system of basic conditions of legal compromise.
