The article studies the operational-search characteristics of mercenary crimes among minors. The essence of mercenary crimes is revealed, actual statistical data on juvenile delinquency are presented. The content of elements of the operational-search characteristics of this type of criminal actions is analyzed, allowing to study the problems of their organization and strategy. As such elements of the operational-search characteristics of this type of crime, the identity of the offender, the method of committing the crime, the motive for its commission, as well as the place and time are investigated. The author notes that the study of crimes in this direction is one of the priority tasks in order to implement measures to prevent crime among minors in general.
