An overview of key issues related to the professional motivation of police officers is provided. Types of professional motivation are shown. There are outlined the vectors of studying gender studies in the framework of psychological and pedagogical support for training law enforcement officers. Promising areas of research on professional motivation of police officers in the context of gender differences are identified.
