The article is devoted to the phenomenon of constitutional purposes, which synthesizes the purposes of the constitutional act adoption and the highest purposes of the state. A comparative legal analysis of the CIS members’ constitutions was carried out, their content and technical and legal features were investigated, and ways of changing the constitutional purposes and specifics of constitutional reforms in individual CIS countries were briefly analyzed.
