Situación actual de los Quichua del Napo y Curaray (Perú)

The article was originally published without an abstract. Short description by Michał Gilewski The article is describing the situations of the Quichua population of the Napo-Curaray river región, Loreto province, Peru. This is based on 2004 and 2005 field research conducted in 38 communities and whose aim was to create conservation plan for local indigenous communities. The article presents extensive overview of the economic, educational and other important socio-cultural factors (like the presence of the non-indigenous outsiders) that shape, influence and threaten the local ways of life.
