Vocational High School (SMK) as a type of formal school which organizes entrepreneurship education that can direct students to become graduates who are ready to enter professionally and participate in the business and industrial world. So that in this study the aim is to know how the teacher's role in motivating and coaching students to build an entrepreneurial spirit in students. This research was conducted using a qualitative approach with a literature study method. Teachers play an important role as facilitators and motivators in developing entrepreneurship for students to increase students' interest in entrepreneurship. With entrepreneurship learning received by students, it is hoped that they can balance theory and practice about entrepreneurship and can have an influence in increasing students' interest in entrepreneurship. If schools want their students to have a high interest in entrepreneurship, then the role of a creative teacher in providing entrepreneurship subjects, providing guidance, and providing coaching is a teacher who can provide materials and teaching methods for a successful entrepreneur
