Bridge cranes of various lifting capacities are intensively used in various industries and construction industries. Bridge cranes are a combination of diverse noise sources, such as electric motors and gearboxes for lifting and moving carriages, wheelsets and rails. One of the intensive sources of radiation of sound energy creating excess over sanitary standards are the rails. It should be noted that it is possible to reduce the noise levels of this particular source by installing vibration-damping materials, which actually provide not only a reduction in vibration levels, and, therefore, noise in the sources themselves, i.e. in an active way, but at the same time perform the function of sound insulation.
