Modern society faces various problems caused by the economic and moral-spiritual crises, the lack of social and emotional abilities which inevitably reflect the school environment. In this context, emotional intelligence becomes an indisputable priority in ensuring the success of a school institution. The article contains a diagnostic study of the teachers’ EI level. Based on the results, a program proposes to solve the problem through various activities for the EI development that will have a beneficial effect on the organizational culture and students’ performance.
