AIM:The Purpose of the study was to compare the degree of Achievement Motivation between Under Graduate and PostGraduate students.METHODS:The study was delimited to the thirty players (fifteen student in each discipline) who had study in SudarshanDegree College,Lalgaon were selected randomly as the subjects for the study.The age of the subjects were ranging from17 – 21 years. The Study was further delimited to the assessment of Achievement Motivation by using SportsAchievement Motivation Test (SAMT) prepared by M.L.Kamlesh.It was hypothesized that there would be no significant adifference between the Under Graduate and Post Graduate students on the Achievement Motivation.For the purpose ofanalysis of data 't' test was employed to compare the Achievement Motivation between Under Graduate and PostGraduate students.RESULT:There was an insignificant difference between the means of Under Graduate and Post Graduate students on thescores of Achievement Motivation since the obtained value of 't' (1.05) was lower than the tabulated value.CONCLUSION:The Achievement Motivation of PG was found to be higher than the UG students
