The paper examines the social phenomenon of Yoruba hand-woven fabric (Aso-Oke): A Re-Appearance of the weaving mechanism in southwest states of Nigeria. The study examines fabrics woven with handspun yarns and the socio-cultural impact of Aso Oke (the use of Aso Oke). The paper also examines the use of Aso Oke clothing (Socio-cultural perspective). Appropriate conclusions and recommendations were made.
