The aim of this paper is to examine that building safe, stronger,healthier, and sound communities are exhilarated by the process of sustainablecommunity development work of which voluntarism is an integral part. In the keyconcepts to be discussed, this also emphasizes the significance of the indefatigablevoluntary actions in all levels of policy-making procedures for sustainablecommunity development in Bangladesh. This paper has been divided into four(04) key points:1. The social, economic, and environmental values and the desirefor a sustainable framework for community development in Bangladesh.2. The significance of voluntarism towards the community and localdevelopment of Bangladesh.3. Recorded histories that showcase the contribution volunteers aremaking to meet the goal for local and community development.4. According to the policy relevance; the current scenario ofvoluntarism for community development.
