Colostrum is the milk that comes out on the first few days of birth, creamy yellow. Mothers who undergo childbirth sectio caesarea often complain ASI slow out factors - factors that affect the formation and the production of milk that the mother's diet, the baby's sucking, breast care, psychology, the support of her husband and family history of the disease, type of delivery, birth weight, rooming , physical and psychological. Design of this research is observational analytic with cross sectional approach. The independent variable and the post partum spontaneous act of SC, the dependent variable is the time expenditure colostrum. The population of all women after a normal delivery and action in the RS SC TK III Brawijaya Surabaya in June 2016, the number of samples of 18 mothers giving birth. Research techniques non probality sampling with purposive sampling. Data collection using observation sheet in the form of a questionnaire. Data were analyzed using Mann – Whitney. Based on the results, that the majority of post partum mothers colostrum spontaneously her out on day 1 of 7 people (72%) and post partum mothers with measures mostly colostrum SC out on day 2 by 5 people (56%). Statistical test results obtained Mann – Whitney p value 0.025 while α = 0.05 (p> α), so Ho accepted that there was no difference in maternal colostrum spending time post partum spontaneous and SC action Post partum mothers are expected to remain calm, peaceful and secure so that the milk production and reduced expenses. Anxiety and grief can cause strain that affects the nerves, blood vessels so that it will disrupt milk production
