The article presents a step-by-step course of work to solve the engineering problem of development and commissioning of the bullet recovery water tank of vertical type with a sluice scheme for removing bullets, used for control firing of firearms to create marks bullet collection of the Forensic Service of the MIA of Ukraine. The result of 10-years operation of the specified product is presented.
