Vast English vocabulary is a key to natural conversation and effective multinational interaction. A wide variety of modern tools are designed to develop our communication skills, with dictionary applications being among the most helpful and universal means of expanding the English vocabulary. Considering the current need for a fast access to the meaning of unknown foreign words, the research is examines the main features and benefits of English dictionary apps. Being an invaluable learning tool, proper use of dictionary apps can make a unique contribution to the communication skills of English language learners.
