The article describes the features of legal regulation of legal liability for contempt of court (judge) in Ukraine. The types, procedure and scope of application of the legislation of Ukraine on liability for contempt of court (judge) are analyzed. It is emphasized that respect for court and judge is a legal and social value, which together with public confidence are the guarantees of the efficiency of the justice system.
