ABSTRAK Pendahuluan: masalah perkembangan sosial anak prasekolah diantaranya anak tidak mempunyai kemampuan bersosialisasi dan kemandirian mencapai 56,61%. Perkembangan sosial yang kurang menimbulkan berbagai masalah seperti bahaya sosial, psikologis dan gangguan konsep diri. Salah satu upaya dalam meningkatkan perkembangan sosial adalah dengan stimulasi bermain puzzle. Tujuan: penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh stimulasi bermain puzzle terhadap perkembangan sosial anak usia prasekolah di RA. Nurul Fitrah Kecamatan Samarang Kabupaten Garut. Metodologi: penelitian ini menggunakan metode Pre Eksperimen dengan rancangan one group pretest-posttest without control. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik consecutive sampling. Sampel penelitian adalah anak berusia 3-6 tahun sebanyak 20 responden. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah puzzle hewan dan buah-buahan, dan lembar ceklis observasi yang merupakan modifikasi dari VSMS, KPSP, DDST, teori soetjiningsih (2014) dan hurlock (2014). Uji statistik adalah uji beda dua mean dependen (t dependen). Hasil: didapati rata-rata perkembangan anak sebelum diberikan stimulasi bermain adalah 9,90 dengan perkembangan sosial anak kurang. Rata-rata perkembangan anak setelah diberikan stimulasi bermain 12,80 dengan perkembangan sosial baik. Hasil analisis uji statistik terdapat pengaruh stimulasi bermain puzzle terhadap perkembangan sosial anak (p value=0,0001 < α=0,05). Diskusi: disarankan RA. Nurul Fitrah menjadikan stimulasi bermain puzzle sebagai salah satu program sekolah dalam upaya meningkatkan perkembangan sosial anak. The less social development can cause a variety of problems such as social danger, psychological and disorders of self concept. The purpose of this study was to determine the influence of stimulation play with puzzle to social development of preschooler in RA. Nurul Fitrah Samarang district of Garut 2015. Method: The research methodology used is Pre Experimental design with one group pretest-posttest without control group. The sampling used is consecutive sampling. The sample in this study was children aged 3-6 years old as many as 20 respondents. The instrument in this research using animals and fruits puzzle and observation checklist sheet which is a modification of vsms, kpsp, ddst, the theory of Soetjiningsih (2014) and the theory of Hurlock (2014). The statistical test used two different test dependent mean (t dependent). Result: this study shown that the children development average before given stimulation was 9.90 that showed children social development is lacking. The average score of children development after given stimulation was 12.80 it shows the children social development is good. Results of analysis of statistical tests showed there are significant influence of stimulation play with puzzle to the social development of children (p value = 0.0001 < α = 0.05). Discussion: based on the research results suggested that RA. Nurul Fitrah makes stimulation play with puzzle as one of a school program in an effort to enhance the social development of children.
