Site selection is very important for any constructionof structure and management. The appropriate site selectiongives very good life and durability to the structure. Site selectionis also improving quality of the structure and life of the structure.So, site selection is very important in of structures. In this,Geographic information system is a tool used for site selection ofstructure. Geographic information system is used to analyses andmanipulate the spatially referenced data. It is also known asremotely sensed data or information. Geographic informationsystem is giving a better output with in short period of time. SoGeographic information system is most widely used now a daysaround the world. In recent developments attribute data areanalysis by using Geographic information system. The selectionof site depends on soil conditions, environmental conditions,weathering agencies etc. so proper planning and design of siteselection is very important to make a structure in long life andincrease the life span of the structure.
