In order to have a sustainable electrical energy, reduction in environment pollution and to improve energy efficiency integrating distributed generation (DG) will be desirable in fulfilling the modern societal energy needs. On the flip side their integration to the grid strikes the major technical challenges. This paper addresses the power quality issues of IEEE 14 bus system during the penetration of PV and wind farm with different loads under fault condition for both grid and islanded mode.
