This paper deals with stepwise development in hybrid electric vehicle based on battery source and ultracapacitor. The focus is on the utilization of ultracapacitor and sustainable development in a hybrid vehicle application. Various control strategies to improve utilization of ultracapacitor has been studied and represented here.
