To ensure the privilege of voting rights of thecitizens, the procedure of election with security and integrity is abasic condition of any nation. Voting in India is a constitutionaland fundamental right under the Representation of People Act1951 and under Article 19(1)(a) of the Constitution of India. TheElections in India are performed almost completely usingelectronic voting machines (EVM) build up over the past 2decades by a pair of government-owned companies. However, inIndia these devices is known as Electronic Voting Machines,have been praised for their easy devise, ease of use, andreliability, but recently they have also been criticized and despitethis criticism, several particulars of the machineries’ designhave never been publicly disclosed, and they have not beensubjected to a rigorous, independent security evaluation. Thisresearch paper will evaluate the machine’s effectiveness andfunction in detail, as well as address its safety in light of relatedelection procedures. Presently , in India available ElectronicVoting Machines(EVM) has been applauded for theiruncomplicated design, dependability as well as usability, yet asof late they have moreover been condemned taking after acrossthe board reports of race abnormalities. In spite of this feedback,numerous subtle parts of the machines' outline have never beenfreely unveiled, as well as they have not been subjected to athorough, autonomous security assessment. However, the wholeworld efficiently dismisses the electronic voting machine (EVM)and in fact, just a couple of nations are presently using theelectronic voting machines (EVM). The research paperexamines the effectiveness of the EVMs in the electoral systemof India with new challenges and opportunities.
