In this paper modeling and simulation ofthermoelectric generator (TEG)modules is validated usingMATLAB. The TEG model is developed with suitable mfiles andfurther the model is extended for generating electricity fromwaste heat liberated by air conditioners. These waste heat maylead to global warming and causes pollution. Hence this problemis addressed in this paper and thermoelectric generators areused to generate power. TEG is called a green technology as allparts are fixed and power produced is not wasted.Thermoelectric power generator converts waste heat in toelectric energy. Hence thermoelectric power generationtechnique aids in the conversion of waste-heat energy intoelectrical power .So the economical wastage of thermal energy isavoided .The power production is abundant and alsoatmospheric pollution is avoided. As a result overall conversionefficiency of system is enhanced. The produced energy can beused for lighting a LED bulb, charging the mobile batteries.
