The development of a software tool for automating configuration of valves used in automobiles is discussed here. Configuring the valve driver is a monotonous task requiring humongous amount of time and concentration. The tool extracts data from Microsoft Excel file and generates the source code for controlling valves. The tool features a user friendly GUI which allows the user to input and import the configuration files.
