Todaysocietyandmanyorganizationsusetheinternetwhichisinterconnectsthepeoplearoundtheworld.ThisinternetusesthetraditionalWideAreaNetworkarchitecture.ThetraditionalWANrequiresasingleprovidertoaccessmanysiteswhichdoesallowthesitesfordirectaccesstocloudresources,inflexibleandthesearehadunpredictableperformance.ToovercometheseproblemsSDWANarchitectureintroducedbasedonSDNtechnology.SDWANhaddynamicmultipathselectionandcloudoptimizedfunctionalities.Thesefunctionalitiesareprovidingimprovedperformanceandfaulttolerance.TheimplementationofSDWANininterautonomoussystemswithCloudComputingallowsvirtualizationonthenetworkarchitecturewithprovisioninganddeprovisioningofresourcesondemand,soitisbecomingneweraofservicebyCloudComputingnamedasNetworkasaService(NaaS).RecentlythetelecomservicesstartedtheNaaStotheirsubscriberstoavoidthemoreuseofphysicalnetwork.DuetopresentnetworktrafficdemandsSDWANneedsdynamicnetworkcontrols,optimalpathselections,Forwarderrorcontrolsandsecuretransmission.InthisarticlewediscussaboutSDWANdesignissues,transmissioncontrolandpossibleintegratedarchitecture.wealsopresentthefunctionalprocessofRESTfulAPIonSDWANwithprogramfragments.
