Early fault detection by using vibration monitoringdevices could help industries to avoid sudden stoppage of themachine, thus reduces machine downtime and maintenance costto save time and money. Early fault detection by using vibrationmeasurement devices are very useful for determining thecondition of rotating elements and its analysis. In this paper, experimental studies were performed to predict misalignmentfaults in rotating machine which is connected with simple rigidcoupling. The vibration is collected by using Micro log datacollector. From results, we can easily predict misalignment inrotating machine using spectrum analysis technique.
