The sustainable urban development has emerged toachieve a better life and prosperity for the individual in modernsociety and in various areas of life.The aim of this study represents new planning vision for thewestern region of Delta to distribute it in new settlements out ofDelta. It is a broad vision of balanced development goals, alongwestern region of Delta, directing its physical expansion towardsnew potential growth centers (Poles). We applied the theory of thestrategy of growth poles for economic and social growth potentialsare selected to intensify the elements of development, activatingthe optimal use of its human and natural resources by working toconvert some of its cities into a group of growth poles andmitigation centers.The output result of SWOT analysis leads to three main majorgrowth poles, five sub growth poles and many linked growth polesspecialized developmental functions that become competitiveattractions for the existing urban areas according to humandistribution, efficient use of economic resources, naturalresources, and industrial technology. This leading activities andadequate infrastructure to not to waste development resources andinvestments available on large areas in the region.
