In this study, many researchers studied flatbulkhead, but Dome-shaped bulkhead is more preferable as itwithstands pressure loads. We modeled a rear pressure bulkheadof a typical transport aircraft using CATIA V5 modelingsoftware. Finite element analyses were carried out by the rearpressure bulkhead subjected to the boundary conditions(Fuselage is fixed and attached to the aircraft honeycombstructure and 0.1Mpa pressure is applied to the bulkhead). Fromthe FEA of the rear pressure bulkhead, we obtained Von-Missesstresses and the deformations were obtained. The maximumdisplacement of 5.46mm was observed on the dome. Themaximum normal stress at the circumferential direction wasabout 306Mpa.
