This article examines the impact of the global COVID-19 pandemic on the macroeconomic performance of the Kyrgyz Republic. The pandemic has caused the most significant damage to international trade. International trade has been pushed back several years as a result of the lockdown, and it will take no small effort and time to restore international trade.According to the World Health Organization, the only way to overcome the pandemic is to create herd immunity. To develop herd immunity, at least 70 percent of the population must be vaccinated against the COVID-19 virus.
