The Kyrgyz writer Turganbai Kylychbek from Xinjiang, when he became famous and won the respect of readers in the 1960s, a cultural revolution took place in China. The consequences of the Cultural Revolution greatly influenced his work. At the beginning his activity Turganbai Kylychbek wrote poems, stories in the Kazakh language, translated from the ancient Turkic language into the modern Kyrgyz poem "Kutadgu bilig" by Zhusup Balasagyn together with Noruz Usenaaly. The article describes in detail the quality, successes and shortcomings of this translation, as well as an analysis of its creative activity in chronological order.
