This article is devoted to Kyrgyz phraseological units as fragments of the linguistic picture of the world of the Kyrgyz people. A general overview of phraseological units by thematic groups is given. Attention is focused on the pedagogical culture of the people. Examples of phraseological units containing the mentality of the people are given.
