The article analyzes the material of recent publications on the state of development of the Far North of the Russian Federation in the complex of General problems of development of mining, water and land transport, the presence and expansion of which determines the formation of the socio-economic framework of the region, as well as overcoming the demographic vacuum of this territory of Siberia, especially its Eastern part. The author's positions are presented both in assessing the current situation and the future resuscitation of this periphery of Russia. The purpose of the work is to assess the prospects for lithospheric transformations in the Far North and to concentrate information on the negative phenomena that have developed as a result of unbalancing economic and socio-cultural policies in relation to the region, which has gradually become a raw material appendage of the country's economy, which has no place in the system of economic programs. The far North turned out to be a preserved zone for a long time, but today, due to the aggravation of the international situation in the sphere of energy resources distribution, it becomes an object of economic interest of neighboring and remote countries. It is time to develop a strategy for integrating the diversified economy of the Siberian territories into the overall economic structure of the country.Due to the beginning of climate warming, which causes the degradation of eocryological homeostasis and the onset of the ocean, including on the territory of the Ob water area, the authors expressed concern about the negative dynamics of the collision of the Ob waters with the ocean tide and possible changes in the hydrogeological configuration of the continent, which will radically affect the forms of development and redistribution of territory, as well as the tracing of transport latitudinal communications connecting the European and Asian parts of Russia.Attention is also drawn to the need to solve the urgent problems of urbanization and architecture of the region at a civilized level.
