The usefulness of construction the expressway number 17 on the way Piaski and Hrebenne has been analysed in the article. The analysis takes into consideration the environmental impact, inhabitants and drivers as well. The road that has been analysed shows that the cause of roads construction or reconstruction should not concern only individual aspects but all the socio-environmental factors.
