The aim of this study was to determine the influence of the transverse connections on the distribution of stresses in the span of low-water bridges. The paper analyzes one-way span bridge with a width of 4 meters. The calculations included a span of 6, 7 and 8 beams, and 3, 4, 5 and 6 rows transverse connections. The analyzes showed that both the number of beams and the number of the transverse connections has a significant impact on the distribution of stresses in the major construction elements of low-water bridges.
