The article is devoted to the questions of the standard bases for the formation and evolution of the law-enforcement system of the Republic of Tajikistan. The author recognizes the fact that in the conditions of the accelerated development of the globalization processes and the involvement of the states into supranational integrative processes, there is a need to improve state and legal system, first of all the law-enforcement system. The standard bases of the reform of the law-enforcement system and the main directions of implementation of the state programs directed on strengthening of crime control, strengthening of legality, and law and order, anti-corruption, ensuring effective functioning of the judicial and legal system and the law-enforcement bodies are defined.
