Integrated thematic learning is a learning approach that integrates various competencies from various subjects into various themes. Schools strongly need thematic teaching materials with an Indonesian theme. Teachers have not developed teaching materials with the archipelago theme, and they still refer to books from the government. This paper aims to develop a mobile game application to support learning resources for children. The advantages of the mobile game are: (1) information on thematic learning is delivered while the game was played, (2) students can play the fun game many times to familiarize themselves with the thematic learning, and (3) the mobile game can be run easily on any mobile phone. In developing the application, the researchers conduct qualitative approaches using the educational game Development method that consists of five phases: concept, design, production, lunch, and maintenance. It is hoped that the mobile game application would be easier, more fun, and interesting, especially for children. This research is still ongoing in the third phase, and the research findings indicated that the game is an interesting, effective, and feasible model to inform students about the Indonesian culture for supporting their learning.
