This review focuses on traditional and occasional risk factors in patients with familial hypercholesterolemia (FH) that influence their medical condition along with the level of the extreme hypercholesterolemia and their age (time of exposure to hypercholesterolemia). The risk factors in question can define the patients' stratification in groups of high and extreme risk, assist in treatment tactics and strategy.
