Dunia Melayu Dunia Islam (Malay World Islam World) may beconsidered one of the State of Melaka’s flagship NGOs. It hasworked hard to forge fraternal ties among the region’s Melayuspeakingcommunities and build religious relations between itselfand the larger Muslim world. Since its formation in 2000, it hasconnected these diverse groups through mutual projects and programs.In addition, DMDI has been in the vanguard, along withother Malaysian universities and other national and regional stakeholdersthat subscribe to the wasaṭīyah (moderation) approach.As a result, this has now become a rallying call for the entire nationto adhere to and support moderation.
