Maqasid Sharia is very dynamic in organizing community life with one and another. The reality of the diversity of religions, races and tribes require a mechanism to protect all communities of Muslims and non-Muslims. Therefore, this study aims to clarify the maqasid syariah as is the principle in the relationship between people. It also exposes non-Muslims who are living in Malaysia, thus creating a peaceful and united community. This study is based on analysis of studies from descriptive method. The data obtained is based on the primary data, is the Quran and the hadith. Also secondary data such as journals, articles, books as well as websites and observations. The results of the study found that the maqasid sharia is a guideline in the relationship between people.
