This article discussed the perception between ebook and physical book usage among university students. A total of 96 university students were involved in this study which was conducted in the previous semester October 2021 – February 2022. Questionnaire was used as a research collection to obtain a comparison of student’s perceptions on ebook and physical books during learning time. The results found the effectiveness on ebook usage among students are higher compared to physical book usage with obtaining the result of a mean with 4.298 and a standard deviation of 0.801. Through the feedback given, functions and features found in ebook need to be improved so that it is suitable to use and give benefits to other students. Although ebook is a new form of innovation in publishing compared to existing physical books, continuous research needs to be done for user’s satisfaction.
