The research deals with the study ofhistomorphologic changes in the lymph nodes of rats arisingfrom the lymphotropic and intramuscular administrationof acidic peptidoglycan. The authors investigated histologicchanges and applied the morphometric method includingthe determination of the average size of the lymph nodes, the size of the germinal zones, the density of the lymphnodules. It is stated that the restructuring of the lymph nodesduring lymphotropic administration occurs at differenttimes in comparison with its intramuscular administration. The lymphotropic method provides a relatively earlier andprolonged onset of an immunostimulating effect. This madeit possible to conclude that the method of administeringimmunomodulators should differentiate depending on thephase and form of the disease progression.
