We presented the first experience of experts work of management of Federal Service for Surveillance onConsumer Rights Protection and Human Wellbeing in the Samara Region on the organization and ensuringepidemiological wellbeing during the hosting major international event – the 2018 FIFA WorldCup. The issues of organization and implementation of activities to identify epidemiological risks, preventionof the emergence and spread of infectious diseases. On the basis of the done work resuits, it isconcluded that the task of ensuring sanitary and epidemiological wellbeing has been completed.
