Complex hygienic assessment of the actual food of the population of Altai region is carried out. Based onthe analysis of the energy and biological value of actual nutrition found that diet is not balanced incontents of macro- and micronutrients and is characterized by carbohydrate focus. As a result ofinsufficient consumption of such foods as vegetables and fruits, meat and fish from the population ofAltai region, there is a breach in the structure of nutrition of the population. The analysis of thelaboratory data obtained in case of a research of foodstuff and food staples in the territory of Altai regionis carried out.
