We have compared working conditions and health state of workers engaged in low- and large-tonnageethylbenzene-styrene manufacturing. It has been shown that working conditions of low-tonnage workersare of сlass 3.3. They cause chronic occupational diseases as well as a high degree of work-related chronicdiseases. Working conditions of large-tonnage workers are of сlass 3.1. Careful medical examination hasnot revealed any changes in «critical» organs and systems.
