ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh perbandingan monomer dan crosslinker terhadap karakter pori keramik berpori gelcasting dengan matriks lumpur lapindo. Prinsip dasar metode gelcasting adalah polimerisasi in situ. Monomer yang digunakan akrilamid (AM) dan crosslinker metilenbiskrilamid (MBAM). Polimer yang terbentuk bertindak sebagai template pori pada saat sintering. Pada penelitian ini dikaji perbandingan AM:MBAM sebesar 6:1; 12:1; 18:1; 24:1. Diameter pori diukur menggunakan metode bubble point. Pori yang dihasilkan sebesar 0,33 μm hingga 2,02 μm.Kata kunci: Lumpur Lapindo, Keramik, Pori, Gelcasting ABSTRACTThis study aims to determination the influence of ratio monomer and crosslinker toward pore character of gelcasted ceramic matrix Lapindo mud. The principle gelcasting method is polymerization insitu. Monomer used was acrylamide (AM) and crosslinker methylenbisacrylamide (MBAM). Polymer act as pore template while sintering process. This research study ratio AM:MBAM of 6:1; 12:1; 18:1; 24:1. Pore diameter was measured by bubble point method.
