Specific features of excessive brines disposal to water bodies by potassium-producing plants with the Solikamsk-Berezniki industrial center as an example have been considered. To assess effectively possible schemes of their regulated disposal depending on water bodies hydrological and hydrochemical regimes a simulating modelling system has been developed and implemented on the basis of the hydrodynamic models adjunction in one-, two-, and three-dimensional approximation, with taking into account all features of the receiving water body and the brines behavior. It has been shown that disposal of the excessive brines requires very substantial initial dilution, otherwise due to considerable stratification effects they can spread for very long distance practically without being diluted.
